We had so much fun. The sun was shining for a whole ten minutes and that is about it. My anal neighbor came over and used the leaf blower on MY driveway. so funny. Thanks tay for playing with me. You are the best sister ever. We are on the same page and I love you.
This is Taylor. She is my mini-me. We laugh a lot. I act like I am fourteen when I am with her. We kill it at Mario-Kart. Isn’t she lovely. It was soooo cold. We had fruity wet feet from this shoot. Thanks Tay, I needed this.

We were in Austin during the marathon.
On our shuttle ride to the airport there was an elderly lady riding with us.
She was in her sixties.
She told us that she hopes to run a marathon in every state in the u.s. before turning 75.
She already has 15 states under her belt.
Needless to say I was so inspired.
Here is this woman, a grandma riding in the same shuttle as me.
God?
are ya trying to tell me something?
So I asked her if she could give someone like myself a tip what would it be.
She gave me great advice,
that summed up is…
“Don’t die”
hahahaha, seriously.
I didn’t even get her name, I wish her luck.
Who knows, she has yet to run the SLC marathon maybe we can together:)
I am so grateful for this weekend. And the time I got to spend with Derek. I re-fell in love with him.
he is such a beautiful person. Not alot of people get to see his soft side. I do. and I am a better woman for it.
We are going to AUSTIN ya’ll. Derek just surprised me with a valentines day trip. I get to see my best friend and get my hair cut!!! She has been cutting my hair for the past five years, and when she moved to Austin last fall, not only was I sad, my hair was too. We leave friday and get home monday. It is definitely needed!
My jogger came today, and I think after I start running Austin will not come fast enough haha.
I also received my new camera and film today. What a good day.

I am twenty four years young.
I have two incredible children.
Evelyn and Emery.
I absolutely love taking photos.
and poetry.
being honest.
I have been living with bullemia for the past fourteen years.
I constantly put myself down.
After having kids my weight never went away.
and it is killing me.
emotionally.
mentally.
physically.
and spiritually.
And I think I am finally to a point where I have decided to be honest with myself about the severity of my disease. It is ruining some of the relationships in my life i care most about.
The one with the signifigant other, my mother, my brother, my best friend, and myself.
The reason I wanted to share this with whoever might be reading this is because a photographer I follow mentioned being honest with herself and her readers was the best thing she had ever done. I also want you to know why i love taking photographs so much. I like how I look in them. It is usually the only time I feel pretty. And I want to make other people FEEL that too. I have decided to turn my life around. And be Happy for once. ALL THE WAY HAPPY. And I want whomever is willing, to come along this journey with me.
Things to look forward to:

I am hoping that by fixing me, everything else including photography will fall into place and if it doesn’t that I will be more confident to get what I want from it.
